However, Leicester's relegation to League One meant James had to look elsewhere, and Wolves was the place he chose straight away. James has started in the EFL Cup this season, but his six league appearances for Wolves have come from the bench.
James was asked whether Wrexham had been a potential destination in the most recent transfer window, and he replied: "That ship sailed I think. It was on last year." He also stated that he had a lot of offers on the table, but didn't think it was right to join a Premier League team that might be in a losing team again. James wants to win games, and he feels that Wolves is the place to achieve that goal.
