Hadj Moussa in line to equal Van der Gijp and Van Hooijdonk against AZ

Limited reliable evidence suggests that Feyenoord's Anis Hadj Moussa is likely to be available for the upcoming match against AZ, according to Voetbal International. The Algerian winger missed Feyenoord's previous match against NEC due to transfer interest from Al-Ittihad.

Hadj Moussa has since scored two goals in each of Feyenoord's matches against PEC Zwolle and FC Utrecht, putting him in a unique position to equal the Eredivisie record held by Cor van der Gijp and Pierre van Hooijdonk. Both Van der Gijp and Van Hooijdonk scored at least two goals in three consecutive Eredivisie matches, with Van der Gijp achieving this feat in 1962 and Van Hooijdonk following suit in 2003.

Feyenoord's trainer Giovanni van Bronckhorst has confirmed that Hadj Moussa is fit to play after missing out on the previous match due to a slight injury. The match against AZ is scheduled to kick off at 18:45 on Saturday.
