Germán Berterame Returns to Inter Miami Roster After Concussion Protoc

Inter Miami forward Germán Berterame has been cleared to return to the team's roster after missing six matches due to a head injury sustained during a match against CF Montreal on July 25. According to ESPN Soccer, Berterame suffered the injury after being knocked to the head by Efraín Morales' elbow.

Berterame described the incident, saying he felt like "someone turned off the TV" after the hit. He was immediately attended to by Inter Miami's medical staff and was taken to the ambulance, where he regained consciousness and asked questions about what had happened. Berterame's wife suffered a panic attack after seeing the incident unfold on television.

The forward was sidelined due to the MLS concussion protocol, but has now been cleared to return to the team. Inter Miami boss Guillermo Hoyos expressed relief that Berterame is recovering well and is available for selection again. Berterame confirmed on Friday that he will be available for selection during Saturday's match against Toronto FC at Nu Stadium.
