Niccolò Fortini, a 20-year-old versatile defender, was in talks with Premier League side Hull City, but he has decided to join Torino instead. The Granata confirmed the defender's arrival on Friday. Fortini's contract with Fiorentina was due to expire in June 2027, but La Viola extended his stay until 2030 before sending him on loan to Torino.
This move is a blow to Hull City, who were hoping to sign Fortini. However, the Premier League side has suffered another setback as Juventus forward Jonathan David has reportedly turned down an approach from the MKM Stadium. David aims to remain in Turin, but his future at Juventus is uncertain as the Serie A giants hope to sell him after just one season.
