PSV can now receive 8 million euros due to the failed transfer, which is the fourth failed transfer in five months for the Eindhoven-based club. This follows the transfers of Ricardo Pepi, Adamo Nagalo, and Armando Obispo, who all left PSV before Driouech.

Driouech was already in Scotland to finalize his transfer, but the parties involved were unable to come to an agreement in Glasgow. As a result, the 24-year-old attacker will return to PSV, where he will miss the first matches of the season due to an injury. Voetbalzone reports that Driouech's return to PSV may be a setback for his career, as he appears to have been surpassed by young player Amir Bouhamdi, who is set to sign a new contract with the club soon.

PSV will be back in action on Saturday evening, when they visit Excelsior at 20:00. The Eindhoven-based club drew 2-2 with Fortuna Sittard in their previous match.
