Dario Vidosic, who has been in charge of Brighton for two years, is to leave the Women's Super League club a little over a week before the start of the new season, according to multiple sources, including the Guardian. The 39-year-old Croatia-born Australian led Brighton to their first Wembley appearance in May's Women's FA Cup final. Vidosic's decision has surprised many of his squad, and Brighton are set to open their WSL campaign against Arsenal on 6 September. The Guardian understands that Vidosic is the leading candidate for the Angel City head coach role, with a view to starting work before the 2027 NWSL season.
