The club's board has sounded out Fábio Carille, a former Corinthians coach, about taking on the challenge. Carille has a history with the club, having started his coaching career there and winning the 2017 Campeonato Brasileiro and three Campeonato Paulista titles in 2017, 2018, and 2019. The board's plan is to sign a new coach until the end of the season, as the club is in an election year. Carille has also coached in Saudi Arabia, where he coached Al Fayha, and in Japan. Additionally, he has coached Vitória, Goiás, and Santos, where he won the 2024 Série B title.
