Corinthians have agreed to pay Memphis Depay a total of approximately 22 million euros over two years, as reported by the Brazilian branch of ESPN. The Brazilian club must also pay a debt of more than 9 million euros to the Dutch striker. This debt was initially set at 13 million euros but was reduced after negotiations with Depay.

Depay will receive a salary of almost 6.5 million euros per year, as well as two private boxes in the stadium, data for private events, and bonuses based on the team's performance. Unlike his previous contract, Depay will not receive bonuses for scoring goals. Corinthians is now working to make Depay eligible to play, with the hope that he can participate in the Copa Libertadores match against Rosario Central on the night of Thursday to Friday.
