The study, commissioned by Bochum, found that synchronized jumps can create the so-called "trampoline effect," which can be particularly uncomfortable for inexperienced visitors. As a result, the East Sector will continue to be open normally, but with certain restrictions. In specific areas, collective, synchronized, and rhythmic jumps and leaps are prohibited. However, this ban does not apply to goal celebrations, only "coreographed jumps."

Bochum has stated that it will monitor and enforce the new rules, and that failure to comply will result in significant consequences, including the possible closure of the East Sector. The club has emphasized that the stadium is in need of modernization, which poses significant challenges for everyone involved.
