According to VoetbalPrimeur, the Belgian champions are looking to strengthen their squad further, with a focus on replacing Bjorn Meijer, who left for Sampdoria for around 1 million euros.
Meijer's departure has left a gap on the left flank, and Club Brugge is considering Jayden Meghoma as a potential replacement. The 20-year-old Englishman has played for Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton's youth academies, and was later signed by Brentford in 2024. Meghoma was loaned to Preston North End and Rangers FC, gaining valuable experience in the process.
Meanwhile, the club is also keeping an eye on the midfield situation, with Ludovit Reis potentially leaving the club. Reis may be replaced by a new signing, but for now, the transfer is still a possibility.
The most pressing priority for Club Brugge, however, is the signing of Romain Esse from Crystal Palace. If the transfer does not materialize, the club will look for alternative options to strengthen their squad.
Club Brugge has already invested heavily in the summer transfer window, signing players like Andrej Vasovic, Cheveyo Tsawa, Lee Hanbeom, Freddie Potts, and Jan Virgili for a combined total of around 40 million euros.
