The 35-year-old Piauí native was previously playing for Al-Faisaly, also in the Saudi First Division League. Luvannor had a successful season in 2025/2026, scoring 22 goals in 34 matches and finishing in the top 10 of the league's top scorers. He also helped Borgonha de Sudair finish second in the league, securing promotion to the top division after four years.
Luvannor has a strong international career, starting with Sheriff in Moldova in 2011. He played 116 matches and scored 53 goals for the club before moving to Shabab Dubai. The Brazilian-born player has also played for several clubs in Brazil, including Cruzeiro, where he won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B in 2022.
Luvannor will now face the challenges of the Saudi First Division League and the King's Cup in the 2026/2027 season.
