Konadu, a 20-year-old forward, is set to complete his transfer to Lommel SK soon. The Dutch club Ajax and Lommel SK have agreed on a loan deal for the player. Lommel SK has also secured an option to buy Konadu from Ajax, which could mean he won't return to the Amsterdam club.
VoetbalPrimeur reports that Konadu attended Lommel SK's home match against Sporting Charleroi on Sunday, where the Belgian club lost 0-1. The Ajax player will undergo a medical examination on Monday, according to VoetbalPrimeur.
Konadu remains contracted to Ajax until the summer of 2028. He had previously been linked to transfers to FC Utrecht and Sparta Rotterdam. Ajax will save around €700,000 in Konadu's annual salary due to his departure.
