Ziggo Sport has confirmed that they do not hold the broadcasting rights for the match between Ajax and Sion in the Conference League. This means that the match, scheduled for 18 August at 20:15, may not be available on TV. The exact reason for this is that the UEFA Europees voetbalpakket does not include the Conference League play-offs. As a result, the home team, Ajax, can sell the broadcasting rights to the highest bidder. It is currently unclear whether another channel has purchased the rights for the match.
Ajax will play against FC Sion in the Conference League on 18 August. The match between Ajax and Sion on 27 August at the Johan Cruijff ArenA will be live on Ziggo Sport and available on Ziggo Sport Free.
