Voetbal International reports that a meeting has already taken place between Ajax and Bailey's representatives, despite the fact that the club is not the only one interested in the player. Bailey, who has previously been linked to Ajax, still has a year left on his contract at Aston Villa. The Jamaican has also had a stint on loan at AS Roma.
Aston Villa paid 32 million euros for Bailey in 2021, when he moved from Bayer Leverkusen. Bailey is reportedly open to a move to Ajax, and his current contract situation at Aston Villa could make him available for a fee of around nine to ten million euros.
