Kherradji was convicted of domestic violence on 19 August and sentenced to six months in prison, suspended. He was also banned from contacting his victim for three years and ordered to attend a course on combating domestic violence. The commission had the option to classify the case as a potential sanction for Kherradji, but chose not to. Instead, it will be sent to the disciplinary council, where a range of possible sanctions could be imposed, from a reminder to a removal. Kherradji was previously judged on 7 August and had his sentence accompanied by a three-year ban on contact with the victim and an obligation to attend a course. He has until Friday at 17:00 to appeal the decision of the justice system.
